SGEP Fitness Assessment Codes

Buy one or more unique, single-use access codes for the Scrum Guide Expansion Pack Fitness Assessment Level 1. Your code or codes are delivered by email after purchase and can be used later, shared with a colleague, or distributed across a team.

What you are buying

You are buying one or more digital access codes for a knowledge assessment based on the Scrum Guide Expansion Pack (2026). The assessment was co-authored by Ralph Jocham and John Coleman; they were also co-authors (among others) of the Scrum Guide Expansion Pack (SGEP), and the key instigators for the SGEP. Each code is a unique digital product delivered after checkout and is valid for one assessment attempt.

This is not the official Scrum Guide assessment. Familiarity with the Scrum Guide is assumed, but this assessment is based on the Scrum Guide Expansion Pack, not the Scrum Guide alone.

What is delivered at purchase

After payment, the buyer receives:

An order confirmation email.
An email containing the purchased access code or codes.
Instructions for starting the assessment.
Access to a private order-tracking page showing code status and completed outcomes.

The code itself is the digital deliverable. It is generated for the order, tied to the buyer, and can be tracked later through the private order page.

How each code works

Each access code is valid for one attempt only.
An attempt is counted once the test is started, whether the test taker passes, fails, runs out of time, or abandons the assessment before finishing.
Codes do not expire, unless they are revoked as part of a refund.
A used code cannot be reused.

Purchasing a code gives access to attempt the assessment. It does not guarantee a passing score or a badge.

What test takers receive

Every test taker who starts the assessment receives a ClassMarker certificate showing their score and the pass mark.

Test takers who score 90% (the pass mark) or higher also receive a verifiable Sertifier badge issued in their own name.

The Sertifier badge is valid for 12 months from the issue date, after which revalidation is required.

What the buyer sees

Before a test taker can begin the assessment, they must explicitly agree to share the following with the buyer:

Full name
Email address
Score
Pass/fail result
Test date
Certificate link
Badge link (if a passing score was attained)

If the test taker declines consent, they cannot start the assessment.

When a code is used, the buyer can view the outcome on the private order-tracking page, including whether the code is unused, used, or refunded. For completed tests, the buyer can see the certificate link and, where applicable, the badge link.

The buyer is also notified by email when a test is completed.

Refund policy

Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase for unused codes only.

Refunds are pro-rated. Once a code has been used to start a test, that code's portion of the order is non-refundable.

When a refund is processed, refunded unused codes are revoked immediately and cannot be used afterward.

Important

Test takers must use an email address they can reliably access. If they use a temporary or incorrect email address, or if corporate firewalls, spam filters, or inbox issues prevent delivery, this is not considered a delivery failure and is not a valid reason for a refund or a free retake.
